Just like the Foo Fighters, Born to Resist: A Foo Fighters Tribute are an explosive 4 piece band who, while duplicating exacting sounds with vocals, gear, and electronics, bring you the heart, energy, and power of The Foo Fighters.
They combine for over a hundred years of musical experience. The 4 members are passionate about recreating the live sounds and visuals of The Foo Fighters with lots of surprises along the way. With the same balls out additude, you'll get the next best thing to experiencing the Foo Fighters themselves.
Formed by a group of lifetime, semi-professional musicians, Born to Resist was the seemingly inevitable result of vocalist/guitarist Kenny Berezowski's life long obsession with the Foo Fighters. Even before there was the Foo Fighters, Kenny and lead guitarist, Jeffrey Hastings, could be found shredding Nirvana tunes in their high-school band. From the moment Dave Grohl released the Foo's debut album, they would forever be Foo Fighter fans.
Our very own Dave Grohl. Kenny treats the role as if he himself is Dave and is responsible for the success or failure of every show. You can be guaranteed to have as raw and authentic of an experience as you would at an actual Foo Fighters concert.
All the way back to high-school, Jeffrey Hastings has been Kenny's partner in rock, with roles from slapping the bass in their high-school band and part of a rocking Acoustic Duo, to his current role as lead guitar; shredding solos and providing the subtle melodic lead parts that are crucial to the Foo Fighters anthems.
A recent addition, Russ comes with a wealth of talent and experience to accurately replicate the intricate workings of Nate Mendel's bass lines.
Representing Taylor Hawkins is in no way an easy feat. Morgan's dedication to accuracy ensures that, while no one can really replace Taylor, the power and energy behind the kit will still be a dominant, driving force of our show.
